Professional Position and Research Collaborations
Full Professor of the Department of Computer Science, Institute of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science of the University of São Paulo (DCC-IME-USP). I participated in the horizontal progression process in April 2012 and my transition to level 2 was recommended in September 2012. The horizontal progression to associate 3 occurred on January 29, 2021, and to Full Professor on May 2026.
Previous positions: Teaching Assistant (MS-1) from April 1993 to April 1994; Assistant Professor (MS-2) from April 1994 to December 1999; Assistant Professor (MS-3) from December 1999 until February 2005.
CNPq researcher, with a CNPq research productivity grant, level 2C, since March 2001. The same was renewed until February 2005. From 2005 onwards the grant has been renewed as a level 2 research grant.
Collaboration with CNRS since 2024 in the International Research Center agreement with USP. I coordinate the informatics pillar with professor Jaime Sichman.
